Notice and takedown procedure
When an entity is verified as fraudulent (operators confirmed with corroborated reports and live evidence), we send formal takedown notices to the parties who can stop the abuse:
- Registrar — suspend the domain registration (abuse policies).
- Hosting provider — terminate hosting for the fraudulent site.
- Payment provider — cut the payment facility victims are told to use.
- Advertising network — remove ads driving traffic to the scam.
Every letter is generated from real evidence on the public profile: verified case references, the danger index, corroboration counts and the live findings with sources.
If you represent the named party
You may dispute the profile from the entity page. Public display is frozen while a dispute is pending, and a resolved notice is marked on the profile.
Process
Draft — operator generates the letter from entity evidence.
Send — by email (best-effort) or via the provider's abuse portal.
Track — acknowledgment and outcome are recorded on the notice.
Resolve — status is published on the entity profile; watchers are notified.
Every step is audit-logged. Notices are sent only for operator-verified scams.
